April 27th 1974 Ros & I got married in St Marks Church Worcester April 27th 2014 we celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary in Dorset on an 600 acre organic farm in a Bothy (Ex cow shed) just the two of us with our doggie Beau wonderful time had by all.

Sunday Morning we visited Max Gate a NT property in Dorchester which is always enjoyable & there were another two rooms open which we had not seen before. On Saturday when reading the Daily Telegraph I noticed an National Garden Scheme (NGS) yellow book open garden at Netherbury being advertised and with it not being far away decided to have a visit & we were not disappointed in fact it was that good it deserves a separate blog post to show the stunning garden.

If you follow my blog you will know Ros & I are 95% organic food eaters, so called into our favourite supermarket Waitrose which has been voted organic food sellers many times with gold awards. We purchased some lovely food & we sat for the evening with a couple of bottles of Bollinger Champagne looking out to Chesil beach and the sea it was a perfect end to a lovely day.

When we got home had a lovely surprise from special friends which was a Dozen Red Roses a bottle of Bubbly & Chocolates.
